BIOGRAPHY
My desire to be Miss Jharkhand is deeply rooted in my journey as a civil services aspirant. Preparing for both the UPSC and JPSC has given me a macro-vision of India’s development alongside a micro-level understanding of Jharkhand’s specific grassroots realities, policies, and challenges. Through this rigorous academic journey, I realized that while administration implements change from the top down, a platform like Miss Jharkhand can inspire change from the ground up. I don't just want a crown; I want to use this incredible platform to be a bridge between the youth and the policy makers, amplifying the voice of our state on a national scale with substance, intellect, and empathy.
Through my extensive academic research into our state's history, I’ve deeply studied Jharkhand's vibrant heritage—from our exquisite Sohrai art to our incredible folk traditions. As a dancer, I believe rhythm and movement are universal languages that can bring our culture to the global stage. To promote Jharkhand, I want to spotlight our rich dance heritage, like the powerful rhythms of Chhau, Jhumar, and Paika. My plan is to collaborate with local folk artists to blend traditional steps with contemporary styles, creating visually captivating performances and digital content that resonate with the younger generation. By using dance as a medium of cultural diplomacy, I want to shift the narrative of Jharkhand and make the world realize that our state is a rich powerhouse of art, rhythm, and grace.
